Who am I?

Hello, my name is Victoria (Vicki) and welcome to my blog.

My Degree?

I have a Bachelor Degree in Digital Media and I graduated from CQUniversity at the end of 2015. The minors I studied during my degree are:

Interactive Media
Graphic Design
Journalism

My two teaching areas are:

English
Media Studies

What does teaching mean to me?

Teaching has been a career path that I have wanted to take since adolescence but as they say, “life is what happens while you are busy making plans” so before I knew it, I was married with children and my career was: full time mother.

I want to make a difference.

Greatest Fear?

My greatest fear is letting my kids down. Not knowing enough or not being flexible enough to understand the needs of all the children I will be helping. However, because this is my greatest fear, I will be working daily to ensure this doesn’t come into fruition.

Greatest Asset?

I have two children. One is now in her early 20’s and my youngest is currently in year 8 in High School. So I know first-hand the struggles parents have with children in the middle and senior phases of learning.
I believe this life skill will allow me to connect with a broad range of children.
With age comes understanding, maturity and patience. I am a mature aged person with life experience in many areas and I am hoping that this will give me a better understanding of the young adults I will be working with.
